maybe thats why we didn't have any serious incidents. |
One brand, I can't remember which, comes with that (I think it's Icon). _________________ Vik

What a fantastic two days. Riding the track backwards is a blast. I love it. Going up the hill to turn 9 is just so much fun. The bike almost wants to lift off as you crest the hill. I really hope more trackday providers pick up on these backwards days.
Two days of riding. Probably over 400 miles of time on the track. Fri backwards. Sat forwards. There was just one red-flag incident both days. It was great seeing all the new 530 folks out for their first trackday. I am glad everybody had a good time. Hopefully you picked up some skills and will come out again. I was hooked after my first time. My second year riding the track I already signed up for a zoomzoom season pass. Never looked back.
I have to say, it was a good group of people both days. I pitted with all the 530 folks fri and had a great time hanging out what little time our down time overlapped. I am glad I was able to go out a couple of times on track with some of the other riders.
Fri night we had a sweet BBQ courtesy of ZZ. So much meat! And those otter pops! Damn. One is enough to knock you out. Saturday was another fantastic day of riding. I started out with a fresh set of Pilot Race. My tires from Fri were a soft compound, and riding them one day at TH in the heat pretty much toasted them. I think I rode all A and B sessions both days except for the last two. The weather was perfect both days. High 80s, I believe. No wind to speak of. And of course the ZZ staff were very accommodating and helpful. I even got to hookup with James Randolph for a session of one on one training.
Overall, another fantastic two days of track riding. _________________ Dave, who has an amazon wish list
