Mike, the biggest poser award is either for you or I, I can't decide!
Great ride today everybody. Brian, thanks for sweeping today...literally..., by finding footpegs and ex250's in the brush on the side of the road! Me thinks I spotted one in my garage earlier!
Eugene great meeting you, bummer about the tough lesson in space invading on the road. I'm suuper glad you're ok, and its a quick fix. Kudos on the split second choice between brakes v. rear-ending. Some people may have just frozen up, target fixated, and rammed the guy in front of them. Glad you chose the lowside.
Pedro, hope to see you back next weekend for some more shenanigans. Dave, a little to the right in the next picture, m'kay..mark alllmost got his ball massage from you that I KNOW hes been waiting for! (oooh, dis!)
..geez, I hope our turnout remains as fantastic as it's been this winter. So many new faces and fun afternoons! _________________ 2005 CBR600rr

Brian and Gene, I hope it's less than a year before our next ride

Once again, it was awesome riding with you guys for a second time. Well except for the thing with Eugene (dude it was some scary shit watching you come out of that ditch), I was just glad to see you walk away without a single scratch. And Ann, just let me know, I’m always down for some shenanigans. Matt a sorry to hear about your ticket, I guess you were this week’s Mark, because by the time you got there that cop must have been really pissed off watching every body else fly by. Can’t wait for the next ride. _________________ '99 YZF600R

I like things with character! I think I'm going to stick a band-aid on the bike once it's fixed. How many rides do I have to go on (without crashing?) to earn a 530 sticker? As for high spirits, yeah... I lost my head and did something dumb (following too closely) and paid the price... I'm just happy the lesson was so cheap! I'm healthy and whole, minus a few aches and battered pride, and my poor bike will be easily fixable.

Like watching someone rise out of a grave, I'll bet.
Again, thanks to everyone, and it was great meeting everyone... time to start putting names and usernames to faces and bikes! This should take a while.... _________________ 2007 Blue/Silver CBR600RR

The pictures I took are up:

Nothing horribly interesting, but I took closer up shots of most of the bikes, if anybody's interested. I also don't have any shots post-my-crash... anybody want to toss any my way? Yinster, I'm lookin' at you. _________________ 2007 Blue/Silver CBR600RR

| so since i didn't go on the group ride because i was suppose to eat lunch w/ my family..i headed back on i-80west..big mistake. why there was so much traffic on 128 (in regards to dave's comment) was because there was a 5 car accident w/ 4 fatalities on i-80 west which i happened to be stuck on for about 2 hours. they redirected us to go to Alamo Drive but i soon discovered aftering calling my bro to find out where i was heading to just bust a U-turn and head back to davis to go on the backroads (basically where u guys went riding...128 and 121) luckily after 2 more hours of driving i made it home...so i'm guessing a lot of ppl decided to choose the same route..it was insane because all traffic was at a dead stop from vacaville all the way to dixon. thought i'd share that w/ u guys. |
